Rebuild Alabama Project Updates – June 2022
The Annual Grant Program of the Rebuild Alabama Act (RAA) signed in March 2019 requires ALDOT to allocate at least $10 million annually from the state’s share of gas tax revenue for funding of eligible local road and bridge projects.

- Blount County, 6 July 2022: Contech Engineered Solutions completed the Proceed Order with Blount County for construction of Inquiry 2021-10 Pre-Engineered Modular beam Bridge
- Crenshaw County, 18 June 2022: Wiregrass Construction Company, Inc. completed the Proceed Order with Crenshaw County for construction of CCP-21-226-21, Various Roads
- Elmore County:
(1) 4 July 2022, A&C Construction Company completed the Proceed Order with Elmore County for construction of Inquiry 2022-PW1 Elmore County Courthouse Sidewalks, Ramps and Flatwork, Project No. for Proceed Order # 2022-PW1-2
(2) 4 July 2022, Alexander Sealcoating and Striping completed the Proceed Order with Elmore County for construction of Inquiry 2021-PW9-1 Wetumpka Srtadium and Redland Elementary School Striping and Traffic Control Markings
(3) 8 July 2022, A&C Construction Company completed the Proceed Order with Elmore County for construction of Inquiry 2022-PW1 Redland Middle School Concrete per Proceed Order # 2022-PW1-3.
- Russel County, 13 July 2022: East Alabama Paving Company, Inc. completed the Proceed Order with Russell County for construction of Project Number RA-RCP-57-001-21.
- St. Clair County, 1 June 2022: Whitaker Contracting Corp. completed the Proceed Order with St. Clair County for construction of resurfacing of various county roads under Proposal No. PWB 2020-28 Micro Surface Paving.
