Two of the ATI strategic pillars are research and service. Our students are involved in work included under these two pillars. Employing these students is one way ATI is helping to meet the UA mission of teaching, research and service.
ATI employs both undergraduate and graduate students as research assistants to work on the diverse transportation projects at ATI and ATI-affiliated centers. This is a great learning experience for our students plus it gives them real-life work experience to add to their resumes. The vitality of the students coupled with their fresh ideas and familiarity with recent technologies is a dynamic element to add to our projects. These students leave ATI ready to make an immediate impact in the transportation arena, be it industry or further academics.
