This FREE 2-day professional development workshop is designed to empower educators to seamlessly and effectively integrate transportation-focused STEM research into their classrooms. It aims to provide educators with the essential knowledge, skills, resources, and support needed to both develop and implement engaging, interdisciplinary lessons. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of transportation technologies, explore diverse career pathways within the field, and learn best practices for fostering active STEM learning. Through interactive, hands-on activities, and collaborative planning sessions, educators will acquire practical experience and valuable insights to enhance their teaching methods and inspire their students.
Teachers who attend both days will earn 4 hours of TEAMS credit, receive a $300 stipend, and be provided with a transportation-focused STEM kit along with a corresponding lesson plan. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to join ATI’s PLC for Teachers.
