ATI is proud to have participated in the inaugural 2024 Future of Transportation Summit in Washington, DC on August 13 – 15, 2024.
A team from The University of Alabama, as part of the TraCR UTC, successfully conducted a live outdoor demonstration on “Securing GNSS-based Autonomous Vehicle Navigation” at this Summit. The ATI team, led by Dr. Mizan Rahman, showcased this in a real-world driving scenario around USDOT headquarters in Washington, DC. It was a unique opportunity to demonstrate innovative research outcomes in front of representatives from government agencies, industry, and academia.
The live outdoor demonstration was developed and conducted by Sagar Dasgupta, Ph.D., Muhammad Sami Irfan, Minhaj Uddin A., and Akid Abrar along with Dr. Mizan Rahman.
Also Trayce Hockstad delivered an informative talk on “Resolving Legislative Gaps in Transportation Cybersecurity” to a large audience in a Cybersecurity general session.
